Craiger Williams

Craiger is a native of Piedmont, Missouri. In 1977, while still in High School, he began working for the local radio station where he developed a passion for writing, voicing, and producing commercials. After graduation, Craiger moved to Columbia, Mo. where he attended the University of Missouri to major in Journalism. He struggled while carrying a full load of courses and working the overnight shift at KCMQ-FM. Before the end of his second semester, he was offered a job doing the morning shift at KUDL in Kansas City. Feeling the opportunity to get a head start on his career was too great, he jumped at the chance and never looked back.
In Kansas City, Craiger was mentored by the great voice-over and production whiz, Dennis St. John. It wasn’t long before Craiger’s voice became well known throughout the area from doing numerous radio and TV commercial voiceovers.
In the late 80’s, Craiger moved to Orlando, Florida where he worked as Production/Creative Director for WHTQ-FM. In 1992, he transferred to Jacksonville, FL to assume the Program Director position with Paxson Communications. As desire grew for his deep baritone voice on radio imaging throughout the country, it was apparent that an in-home studio was a must.
Craiger currently resides in Jacksonville with his wife, Lori. When not in his studio doing nights on 99.9 Gator Country, you’ll probably find him swimming, cooking, playing “DJ” on his jazz internet radio station, or feeding his “pets”…the wild birds and squirrels that live in his yard
