· St. Augustine
· Saturday, November 23, 2013 to Friday, January 31, 2014
· Starts at 4:30 pm on Nov. 23rd

From Nov. 23 through Jan. 31, St. Augustine will glow from the ground to the rooftops. Each year, the annual Nights of Lights in the Ancient City begins with Light-Up! Night on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Light-Up! Night begins at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 23 in front of Lightner Museum (City Hall), 75 King St., with entertainment by Showtime USA. The singing and dancing group of children and teens will deliver a  variety of holiday musical favorites. At 5:30 p.m., the All Star Orchestra will take the stage in the Plaza de la Constitución, between King Street and Cathedral Place, with swing and big band sounds all in grand holiday style. At 6:30 p.m., the lighting ceremony begins and culminates at 6:45 p.m. with the turning of a switch. Entertainment continues in the Plaza until 8 p.m. and traditionally the thousands gathered there linger in the downtown area for dinner, shopping and light-viewing. For a list of events or more information, go to
